Enterprises. I'm a part-time computer tech working to help people
with their home and small office systems with minor issues that may
not require a full-time hand's-on position.
My rates are as follow:
$35/hour, billed in 30 minute increments after the initial hour.
$0.35 per mile for travel up to 100 miles one way, $0.45 per mile
one way after 100 miles.
There are a few preset prices, which do not include mileage costs:
$100 for initial installation of an OS with the default settings for
the install.
$50 for software installation of an application with the default
settings for the application.
$75 for virus/trojan cleaning attempts. There are no promises that
the work I perform will remove all virus/trojan files. It is highly
recommended that you already have an anti-virus / anti-malware
application installed.
It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that their hardware
is compatible with any OS that they want installed. If it is not
able to run the OS, I will refuse to install and charge you for my
time at the normal rate unless I've started the work. This same
responsibility holds for applications to be installed on the system.
If you need a machine built from parts you will need to make sure
that all the parts are present.
